I love an occasional Woodgrain pattern somewhere you might not expect it. It adds a fun splash of kitsch to everything, and can come in so many different versions.

(From Left to Right)
1. Faux Bois Vans at Somethings Hiding In Here. These are custom made, but you can make your own by drawing a wood pattern on a pair of white slip on shoes with a brown fabric pen. These were also featured in the Dec/Jan 07/08 issue of Readymade.
2. File Folders from MoMA Store. Who doesn't want to have the cutest supplies in the office?
3. The Silverwood Necklace made by Enamored. This etched silver pendant is more subtle than other faux wood prints.

4. Not faux, but a real Wood Stapler at The Curiosity Shoppe, the best source of everything kitschy and wonderful on the internet.
5. If you're able to splurge, the Timber Table is an excellent modern example of a faux woodgrain. I love the simpleness of the etched acrylic. It is made by Gus Modern and can be found at Bobby Berk Home.
5. Perfect little clutch made by keykalou.
